Yes.. IF she submits the subject tests! If she got a 650, she probably wouldn't submit it. And, it doesn't really matter if she does or not (yes, admittedly, if she got exceptionally good scores on a couple of tests, those might give her application a boost... but, UChicago doesn't require them!!! So, there's no reason for the OP to worry!)

"The only thing that completely unimportant is the SAT I writing score which they black out."
Seriously?!? The writing section was the only one that I did really well on! Oh well... Looks like I'll be submitting my ACT score... =)

"If you're sending in the SAT, though, I think the subject tests hop along for the ride."

This is true; whatever scores you have when you send the score report are sent expect for 8th grade SAT results (if your 7th or 8th grade SAT results are fabulous, you can get them added to the report). Note that you can specify which administration(s) of the ACT are sent.

Also be aware that some high schools include test scores on their students' transcripts. I DON'T think with is a big deal with Chicago, but if you are trying to make sure a test-happy school only gets SAT's or ACT's, it is something to be aware of. At the very least you should know your hs's policy on this.

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but on the Uncommon Application blog Libby wrote that they don't even see SAT IIs. I was under the impression that when submitting SATs, they'd see both, but I guess not.
