how likely am I gonna get into the school I want to go?

<p>well to start things off I only have GPA of 3.3 but it was going from like 2.8 in freshmen year and up to 4.0 last year to make total GPA of 3.3. It's very low GPA and my SAT is only 2050. I plan to take SAT again and get over 2100. </p>

<p>School I'm applying are dream schools: NYU, JHU(maybe), columbia, cornell
some where in mid: BC, U mich, Binghamton, Albany</p>

<p>I have excellent Extra Curriculars that i have been doing for past 5+ years</p>

<p>I know it's very unlikely that I will have a chance but I want to hear words from people who have already applied to my choices and got their result and what happened. My counselor said people with low GPA but have good SAT and extras can get in to good schools. Of all NYU would be my dream school, I know its wayy too big dream for someone with my grade.</p>

<p>I'd say BC and U mich are about low-reaches, maybe matches if your SAT's improve a lot due to your low GPA. NYU is the same case. </p>

<p>JHU, Columbia, and Cornell are all going to be reaches (they are for most people :P), and i'm not sure about binghamton and albany.</p>

<p>I really did bad during my freshmen and sophomore year and finally start to study during my junior year. </p>

<p>In college I plan to study Pre-Medical and then apply to Medical schools once I take MCAT</p>

<p>Man, I really regret my recklessness....</p>
