How long once OSU gets everything do you hear a decision?

<p>OSU is starting to frustrate me a little. My kid's status changed to admit on the web site on 1/11 (application was complete 11/1), but we still haven't gotten any letter in the mail nearly two weeks later. Is this indicative of OSU generally, due to the large number of students?</p>

<p>NZ: I do not blame you for feeling frustrated at this point, but I do not think the timeline is out of the ordinary. You should get the congrats letter shortly and then the acceptance package right after that. </p>

<p>I printed out a copy of the appl. status URL so we had proof of the acceptance in writing. We have only had pleasant experiences with TOSU admissions so far when we called them, and would recommend calling to ease some of the frustration.</p>

<p>They are extremely swamped which might explain some of the delays, but they are not hard to get on the phone.</p>

<p>Same thing happened to me - it took a week and a half, but once the paperwork started coming, it never stopped. It's a daily experience, heh. The phone calls to me have been nice and very personal. Actually, the experience has been fantastic. I was accepted within 7 days of completing my application, I'm OOS, and I'm not particularly strong. Color me impressed.</p>

<p>I dunno about other's situtation but i got my decision pretty fast...Im OSS and i got accepted within 4 days. Hope everyone who is having trouble gets some reassurance from the school pretty soon</p>
