How many (and which) AP classes are you taking your senior year?

As a senior, I have 4 AP classes:

AP Calculus AB
AP Statistics
AP Microeconomics
AP U.S. Government and Politics

3.
AP French
AP English
AP Calc (Ab)

Not sure if I’ll take the French test or not; I also might self-study art history, since I have to take a class in that even though it’s not AP.

4-5

  1. AP Computer Science A (Mostly done in a summer course, though)
  2. AP Calc BC
  3. AP Stats
  4. AP English Lit
  5. AP Physics? I don’t know which one, though.

AND if I’m motivated enough, I’ll self-study AP Econ (both) so that I can avoid taking social studies classes for the rest of my life (APUSH this year should get me out of history in college, but some colleges also require something like econ or psych, and not all colleges accept AP Psych…we’ll see).

Ap calculus ab
Ap physics c
Ap chemistry
At computer science(ap comp sci ab)

@Caltechdream‌ this is a 4 year old thread, please don’t revive unnecessarily.

Some topics really don’t have an expiration date. Most do, but one like this is fine to start up again if someone wants, or they can start a fresh one. The discussion doesn’t really change either way. Most topics tend to have information that gets out of date, this one is an exception.

5 for Next year(senior)

Ap calculus bc
Ap physics c
Ap computer science
Ap chemistry
Ap statistics

AP Physics C
AP English Lit
AP Microecon/US Gov and Politics
either AP Bio or AP Spanish lit

and then I’m applying for Calc III through a program and I’m doing internship/directed studies as well.

Are you taking both AB and BC calc? I’m taking BC right now, and first semester of BC is basically AB… you’ll also get an AB subscore from the BC exam. I think your schedule will be fine if you work hard. It’s a different story if you plan on having a regular job during the school year or any other huge commitment. Kudos to you for not just going with your friends. ^^

AP Art History
AP European History

Since I probably won’t even take the AP tests, this year is like a walk in the park.

@skieurope Senior year?

@TheSlacker16 Yes

AP Calculus BC
AP Physics 1
AP US History
AP English Lit

AP Bio
AP French
AP Econ
Multivariable Calc. Hon. (Beyond AP)
AP English Lit.

Basically this is my schedule for next year w/2 free periods. However, I am worried about AP English Lit. because I’m currently in regular English. I heard the teacher makes it like impossible to get an A in that class. I want to go for a 4.0 UW gpa next year (since my cumulative UW sucks), and this is the only class that will get in the way of my goal. Should I still take this class?

My daughter is taking 7:
AP English Literature
AP Spanish Language
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
AP Physics
AP Chemistry
AP Environmental Science

Bio
European history
Eng lit
Honor stats with ap exam

I’m taking three in my senior year:
AP Biology
AP US History
AP US Government

I might end up self-studying AP Comp. Gov. as well. Sadly, my school only offers seven AP classes (in favor of the IB Diploma Program), and I’ve already taken two (AP Calc AB and AP Chemistry). These above, however, are considered the most difficult/reading-heavy classes offered here.

AP Stats…

The rest are IB classes

We have 6 periods in a day

  1. AP Calc BC (1 semester course, already took AB) | Multivariable Calculus
  2. AP Physics C
  3. AP Government
  4. AP Literature
  5. French IV
  6. Internship

I’ve got 7 periods a day. I’ll be a Junior next year.

  1. AP Psychology
  2. AP US History
  3. AP Lang
  4. AP Human Geography (maybe?)
I could’ve taken AP HG my Freshman year or this year, but my Freshman I didn’t know what to expect and I opted for AP World History this year (well I had to take it since my school makes us take it Sophomore year).
  1. AP Calculus AB
  2. AP Physics 1 My other three classes are honors dual enrollment classes.
