How many courses in fall and winter?

Hello all!

How many courses are casually chosen in fall or winter? There is a huge load of interesting courses but I don't know what the human limits might be. How many of them can I realistically take?

Take 15 credits (5 classes) per semester, that’s the normal load.

Or are you asking about electives? That depends on your program/major.

Yes, I was talking about elective courses. The question is how many of them I can do. By interest I would like to choose 6 of them.

Dont overload yourself. You will likely butcher your gpa with 6 courses. Dont make studying in the library your freshman year. Spend your time exploring the amazing city of montreal, do some extracurricular activities, adjust to the college experience, make new friends. An education is more than the number of courses you take. The first semester is definitely the most exciting semester, get your head out of textbooks and enjoy it while it lasts, you will never get a similar opportunity again.

Just because there is a big list does not mean they are offered every semester or even every year. That is true at most schools.
