<p>@wantucsb I don’t think rejections will come until May 20. UCSB will keep applicants waiting because some students who make waitlists at other schools will withdraw their SIRs from UCSB and spaces will open up.</p>
<p>Sign into the porta everyday, finding out myself is still in the waitlist is so painful. It is like a long-term torture.</p>

<p>“by May 20” is the most specific answer they could tell me when I called. They also said that there will probably, hopefully be more acceptances. This wait is driving me crazy… the SIR deadline for the last wave was Saturday, I don’t get how they still don’t have them all counted up.</p>
