Again, I don’t spend that money. My parents do. And not even just them. Probably a third of that is spent by my aunt (who actually is sort of rich, or at least was before she had kids) because she got used to doing sort of “motherly” things for me and my sister because she didn’t have any children until we were about 10.
I spend $300 per on silly stuff because I’m seriously ridiculous. I made $1400 this summer at an internship and I spent every cent of it. That’s not wealth, that’s stupidity.

My parents’ income right now is $160,000 -not rich. Of course, they did push it there by hiding some stuff because they want it under $180,000 so they can get more college money (Northwestern, my sister’s school, is $50,000 a year!). Normally it’s like 185. But its not real income. More than half of that is my father’s deductions from his retirement account (which is why my parents can so easily bring our income down). If you look at any traditional socioeconomic model, we’re firmly within the upper middle class and far from the upper class.

“My father makes between 2.5 million and 4 million each year. He is an attorney, so his income is subject to change. I have one brother, and my mom doesn’t work.”

i love the clearance racks…everytime i go to A/F or hollister…straight to the clearance sections in the back lol. i mean they’r all essentially the SAME things anyway. no need to rush to get the newest clothing when u can get 'em much cheaper like a month later.
i’m not a brand name person. not at all. i go for what’s the best ‘deal’…quality + price tag. better not waste money. my parents work really hard…they’r NOT rich…i mean really. and if some of YOU guys think that YOUR parents r not rich…then mine would/should be considered poooooor.

Hmmmm, in a month? I probably would spend close to $500 on A suit, $145 for shoes, $50 for tie, and call it a month ($695 plus tax?) Otherwise than that, I’ll just buy like a sweater or a shirt that i end up giving to my brother. But i should start to save money for college…

oh wait we’re talkin about in a month? usually on average…$0…it’s not like i HAVE to go shopping every month or every other month so i could get the latest trends. not necessary

I usually spend about $100 every two or three months on an outfit: $25 jeans, $15 shirt, $40 shoes, and a $20 dress? Usually like that… I go to Von Maur (high-end, but not Neiman Marcus, department store) and shop in the CLEARANCE section.

next to nothing. I’ve had the same pair of ripped up slip ons for 4 years. I find old sweaters and **** in boxes in the garage and kinda just take the garbage my dad used to wear 1349 years ago

^^^^
Gus, I don’t rewear clothing for at least a month, but shopping every week? Crazy.

In January, I got some jeans at Saks that were originally $270 for $45, and then paid $15 to have them altered because I’m lazy and tired of hemming pants at home. You should wait for sales! But some people have a love for jeans and can’t wait, I guess, or are willing to spend that munch on jeans. I really don’t like jeans, but I will spend $200 or more on something as silly as a scarf. To each his own, but I like pointing out what might be advantageous.

Lol, rotational clothing schedule? I have something like that… I wear the same unit of cargo shorts for a week or two, and then wear another unit of cargo shorts for a week or two and wash the first, and do that year round. Srsly, I only have one unit of dress pants for fancy stuff and some long cargo shorts for thorny bushwacking, and that’s it. ;]

I usually change shirts every day though. Have about five of those! ;D

We have a dress code, so it’s basically khakis/dress pants and button-down shirts everyday. I’m on a rotational clothing schedule; likewise, it’s been a while since I’ve gotten anything new. I still wear shirts I’ve had since fourth grade. :/
