How much do you spend on your clothing ?

Oh my gosh, so do I!!!

joins you as a social pariah

Sometimes I even wear the same pair of jeans two days in a row!! Why? Because I REALLY don’t think people stare at my butt everyday to try to figure out if the back pocket design is the same from a day to day basis.

I have seven pairs of pretty nice pants. I decided that instead of an xbox 360, I would just have a cycle of pretty nice designer pants, nothing too expensive. I’d rather rewear the same pants after a week, and have them be pants that I really like and look pretty cool.

For shirts on the other hand, I have tons of cheap tees. And my sister buys me nice shirts that I would wear for an occasion for xmas and my b-day because she’s all into fashion and that stuff.

Hey guys,
Does any of you own the new Paco Rabanne - One Million parfum ?It is soooo perfect.Never have i smelled sth so perfect

My school is actually pretty formal, so I have a lot of dress pants, skirts, blouses, dresses, nice shoes, etc… I tend to dress pretty well outside of school, too, and especially I love clothes from Anthropologie.

bluh, i wish i could afford anthropologie on a reg basis/ wasnt morally opposed to it being the same company as UO, their dresses are sooo nizzze!

im a mixed bag, spending wise. i wear a lot of mens undershirts w/ jeans. i have 2 pairs of jeans i wear on a reg basis. if im gonna get something like a formal dress or a coat, i go big and spend a few hundred, but mostly i get things at thriftshops/ closets in my house, so i have a lot of ridik stuff for under 10 bucks. i shop mostly during the summer.

$10 jeans at kohls and free tshirts from various places

I’d say about $300/yr.

Yay for wearing a uniform to school every day for the past 12 years. :P

Spending more than $20 on a shirt is moronic.
I try to stay around $10 for a shirt. It’s a piece of cotton.
I’m not going to pay for another company’s ad campaign.

^Wow. I usuallly don’t even find shirts for $10. :frowning: Not the ones that I like anyways. But if I do, I get really happy. Doesn’t happen often.

I usually spend $50 a month. On average I guess. unless I just need like a whole new wardrobe change…like that time I had to get all new jeans. …Haha boy, that was an expensive shopping spree. Sometimes I don’t go shopping for like 2 or 3 months though. But usually, on a normal shopping trip, I don’t spend more than $50. (Which is usually like 2 shirts so it’s not that much)

I’d also say around $300 a year. I think I’m finally reaching the point where I’ve stopped growing. Yay for being able to start building a wardrobe!

Damn. So many rich people.

Smile614: Go to Kohl’s.

^ Actually, Kohl’s isn’t that cheap. You should also go to Macy’s and look for the deals. I got a pair of jeans that would have cost me more than $100 for $15 (woot woot), and a fur jacket type thing that was originally >$200 for… $5!

Haha yeah I was just about to say, I went to Kohls the other day and everything I saw that I like were around $20. I guess you can get them really cheap on sale but I always wear the most common sizes so they’re usually the ones to go first. Or they’re missing the colors I want.

@mulberrypie–I wish we had a Macy’s here. Honestly, the closest one is like 3 hours away. :frowning: But YES. I think I’ve stopped growing too! So now I don’t have to get a new wardrobe every year for every season. I can actually re-wear most of the things I have from last year so I can just build up my wardrobe. Except I’m still getting a bit taller I think…but my jeans are usually just a little bit longer so now they just fit perfectly. Hooray.

I probably spend like … $300 per year on clothes. But, I basically spend my own money on them. I pick up random odds and ends that I like if I am at the mall or something.

This thread reminds me that I need to go spring shopping soon.

^Me too me too. I love spring/summer shopping. But I can’t seem to find a free weekend between now and AP exams.

I ordered some gladiator sandals online though. They should be here soon…
Otherwise, I haven’t shopped since Spring Break. I guess that’s not saying much though.

Wow, I thought kids on CC were poor when I went to the “What’s your EFC?” thread… but I guess there are some splurge-rs here…

i get all my clothes for free but when i do shop i hit up J Crew, ANF, and Gap and i probably spend what would be around $800-$1000 per trip but i dont go that often. those stores arent cheap… thank god for discounts and free clothes

I don’t use clothes.
