About 2 hrs. a night. I should spend more time and do it earlier in the night, but I don't. That explains my B in regular lit.

I pretty much snoozed through the last three years. Most of my homework, I did in class. Of course, that was the last three years. Our AP Classes were easier than the regular ones--we did less work.

This year, I'm doing about four hours a night, plus that infernal pep band twice a week. It's insufferable, really.

I have two plus hours of sports after school everyday all year (fall:cross-country, winter: basketball, spring: track), and when I am finished at five-thirty or six p.m., I'm pretty exhausted. Subsequently, I spend probably about thirty to fourty minutes a night on average doing school work, but I probably should do more.

homework...puahahah homework is for nubs homework aka copy as fast as you can before school work. I only do the necessary stuff like projects.

Hell yes 3+ hours!!

Well, it depends on what class it is for. If it is for one of my simpler classes, I really don't do much and still get an A in it. But if it is for any of my AP classes, damn straight I do my work! lol

whats the best way to stop procrastinating? i seem to do it alot. when im supposed to be doing homework, i tend to go online look at videogames, research them, check email, or go on CC. what is the most useful way to stop procrastinating?

Hmm... I wouldnt know i do it alot! I try not too, the worst thing for me is waiting all weekend to do hw and ending up doing it sunday night. It helps if i start it as soon as i get home friday to get it out of the way- works in theory, but in actuality it never happens.

Lol. sometimes i just tell myself that the sooner i get done with all my work such as studying and homework, i can do other things like guitar or games or whatever. this helps sometimes. i need to get rid of this damn computer from my room! i think that will totally work.

Depends...a lot of the kids at my school often work into the nights, some of them reach as far as 3 in the morning before they go to bed...och.
I have about 3 hours of homework each night which is not too bad.

wow....i spend 9-11 hours per day. im just dumb in general but i have a good work ethic.

It depends. At least 3-5 hours of homework. Usually, I do that many hours at night, then, if I have more, wake up 1-3 hours early to do more in the morning, then finish the rest at lunch or when I have a few extra minutes at school. Then again, I'm taking 4 AP classes and 2 other advanced classes. I get tons of homework in ALL of my classes, and all of it is mandatory stuff you need to know to be comfortable enough to get A's on the tests.

4-5 hours a day....(classes are ap/college courses except gym, and i have clubs to run and so many activities that cut into school hours + i have a part time job)
Oh, and I'm generally a procrastinators, esp on test/quizzes as overnighters, usually pull them off without a hitch, and occasionally bombed horribly.
Generalize the math and you might realize that a bed is a luxury item.

Yea, and one more thing. I think i need to imitate Ninnykins and Sleepisabliss work ethics, cuz college isn't going to be as lenient to me as these h/s teachers! haha!

Sleepisbliss- that's crazy. If you're doing an average of 10 hours of hw per day, and school last approximately 7.5 hours, you're doing school work nearly 18 hours every day. That leaves only 6 hours for eating, sleeping, and pursuing fun activities (ECs?). Take a break and enjoy high school. If you try to improve your time management skills, you might shave quite a few hours off of your hw average.

btw, i do about 1 hour of homework every night, unless i have a big test...in which case, i study until i understand the concepts, which usually takes between 1 and 3 hours.

I only sleep 3/4 hours. 2 hours are included for eating, showering, etc. I had waterpolo but it ended. im currently doing community service, getting a job and i just signed up for business law class. I start my homework in school when I have busy days. As for happiness, eh...what else do I have to do in this boring area except go to online forums and play cs? Oh, and I will pwn college. It will be much easier than high school because everyone else seems to go to easier schools.

my school is really hard and my schedule is hella tough so i spend about 5-7 hours of homework each night

"what else do I have to do in this boring area except go to online forums and play cs?"
There's a concept called initiative and a quality called creativity. And as for happiness, well it depends on what you define as happiness.

"It will be much easier than high school because everyone else seems to go to easier schools."
It's not that everyone goes to "easier schools" but whether you're capable of handling the courseload. And being more than 100miles from where I am, i find that its very intuitive of you to tell us that what we say "seems" to implicate a laxed curriculum.
And good luck in college, cuz i certainly doubt that it is easier than h/s. Or perhaps I'm being too narrowminded and it also might just depend entirely on what courses you're taking in college.
Sorry, coming home after work really makes me "work" up.

Man, I really feel bad for people who work 5-10 hours a day. Frankly, that's a little pathetic.
