if i dont sleep... then thats 5-8 extra hours / day to do anything !

5-6 hours is enough for my immune system

Anywhere from 6 to 10 hours, but usually around 7-8. Last year, I used to get like 3-4 hours of sleep a night because it was the first time I'd taken an AP course before, and I was terrible at managing my time. But this year, I've gotten a lot better at time management (and I even bumped it up to 2 APs!), so I can sleep a lot more.
You may not notice it, but sleep deprivation really does affect you, and it's really bad for your health, as well as your ability to learn. Maybe I'm the only one, but when I don't get enough sleep, I function like I'm retarded, I laugh at almost everything, and I start hating people. But I think I'm just weird.

A sickeningly small amount: usually about 2-3 hours.

6 hours is typical. I also take a power nap right after I come home from school. A 15 min. power nap is good enough. Anything longer than that will keep me up the entire night.
This is crazy..not to sound whiny..but to sound whiny :D , 6 hours isn't frickin enough for me!!!!! I seriously need like 10 hrs of sleep. OH JESUSS

A healthy amount of sleep is important. I get at least 7 hours of sleep a day. I am on a team two out of the three seasons and on the last season i still exercise every other day. If I don't get enough sleep the difference is quite noticable. I am a good stuent and know the importance of staying up late to study, sometimes, it cannot become a habbit. It is important, as the greeks say, to have sound mind and sound body. You should study hard, stay in shape, eat well, and get a good amount of sleep.

dude... school is just about over. what are you staying up for?

6 hours if i'm lucky...usually 4.5-5 hours though. friday night i usually sleep like 10-12 hours though.

I get like 6-7 at home, and anywhere from 2-3 in class.

i sleep during passing

I normally get 4-6 hours of sleep a night, but I have to get up at a dastardly hour (5 am) in order to get to school on time, so I actually go to sleep at a pretty typical hour for a high schooler (between 11pm and 1 am). However, I usually catch a nap on the city bus to school and take a nap when I get home.

i heard that you get more pimples if you don't have enough sleep (7-9hours!)

i had a soccer game today and i fell asleep straight after for like 4 hours and i'm now wide awake and i'll be like this probably till dawn :( (this has happened before)

Yeah... not sleeping enough definately does affect us both physically and mentally. What is weird though is that one night I got 12 hours of sleep and actually felt so incredibly tired the next day... I felt like I had pulled 2 consecutive all nighters! Now that's weird.

my schedules just kill my sleeping hours.......MWF = wake up 6:30, Tues,Thurs = 5:30

i tend to get about 6-7 hours a day. generally starts from about 12 or 1, so if i have school in the morning dont get more than 6

I have to get on my bus at 6:45...I get about...6 hours each school night...sometimes less...It's a nightmare, but I manage to survive...somehow...
