How much sleep do you get every night?

I try to average atleast 6 a night.

Sleep deprivation is bad:

Army must be right :-D

these days its like 6-7, not like I have a lot of work anymore, just lazy to go to sleep? is that possible?

I usually sleep 3-5 hours a night, it's really bad, I'm a procrastinator. I won't start my homework until late, then I stay up to do it and I start a horrible cycle.

Usually about 6.5. I really should be sleeping now!

It really depends, I ALWAYS take a 2 hour nap when I get home. After that I just fool around for a while, start hw at about 10, which I'm about to start right now. I finish between 12-1 AM, eat, and get in bed at around 2 and fall asleep between 2:30-3:00. This gives me about 4-5 hours of sleep.

Wow i didnt know so many people slept as late as i do. I am also a huge procrastinator and dont start my hw until really late....especially senior year

you still actually DO homework your senior year??? I haven't done homework for like three weeks. Well, I did write a ten page paper for English, but we don't graduate without getting a C or better on that. Mine was awful and mostly plot summary. Hardly any analysis at all. Oh well. I have 12 actual school days of high school left!!! haha yess!

Haha, sleep...what's that again?

About 3-4 hours, but I've been trying to get more since it's AP time. I've been taking Simply Sleep, but I dunno how much it helps.

About 7-8 for me.

Ranges 5-8 most of the time.

and Welcome remembertobreathe!

Tonight, I'm actually going to bed early and waking up at around 3-3:30
to study for an SS test... talk about procrastination... I'm also like dead tired and can't retain any information.

hahaha
3-4 hrs maybe each night
but hopefully that will change after APs

Yes, after APs, I'm hoping for 9+ hours of sleep. :-)

dude i love the tonight show with Jay Leno... he is actually funny...

3-6 hours.. sometimes i only take a "one hour nap".. which means i hit the sack around 4:30 am and get up at 5:30 to go to school (crazy and stupid i know)

i really should stop procrastinating. :) but i've gotten so lazy.

Wow, I'm surprised at the numbers. How do you all manage to focus when you're in school?

If I'm managing only 4-5 hours of sleep for a week, I can barely focus at all near the end of the week...

wow.....do ap classes really affect you guys that much?.... only getting 4-6 hours of sleep each day......

So that means........I WILL DIE NEXT YEAR!!!

haha....lol

definately 4-6.... the better question is how much time do u spend doing homeowrk...that's like abotu the same 4-6

I don't think it's so much AP classes thats making us only get 4 hours of sleep. I'm getting almost the same workload (except for APUSH) as before. The thing is I never cared if I learned the stuff entirely before. With AP's we are almost forced to "care" about learning the material. So I think the 4-6 hours of sleep is attributed to "caring" about the material.

on average, i sleep 10-11 hours. more during the weekends.
i do most of my homework/study at school and everybody thinks i'm a nerd because of that.
i procastinate a lot too especially for my AP test. i don't remember studying any at home except the night befor when i went to bed really late at like 3am.
i know i could get straight A's if only i could reduce my hours of sleep. it's way too much.
