it definitely helps on your application if you ATTEND the conference -- it won't make a difference if you are simply invited but you don't go. (info taken straight from a princeton admissions officer who i asked the same question to...)</p>
<p>BUT i have to say that if you are only considering to attend it for the sole purpose of putting it on your application then don't even bother. i attended it and it's a great program where you learn a lot of information and meet a lot of people. overall, it truly is a great experience.</p>
