<p>I am almost as happy as I would be if it were my own child…I know that sounds just a bit odd to anyone in the non-CC world, but it is funny how one can get so swept up in fellow CCers stories throughout the college admission process. Yes, there are a few school threads on CC that are special and the Tulane thread certainly is.</p>

<p>Aw thanks kelijake: Vitrac that’s genius-- like button would be handy here. I actually cheered when I saw Bowler’s acceptance, so I know what y’all mean about getting invested in others’ outcomes.</p>

<p>FC, she’s waiting on ED. Its a big reach. Def a Tulane crossover. She’s more than at peace about it all though. I agree visiting schools in less than ideal weather and still falling hard for them is a great indication that they’re a good match. Plus, she’s a southern gal at heart, so the heat’s got nothing on her : )</p>

<p>just got our letter!!! DS was in the shower… I nearly broke the door down…offered $20,000 Academic Achievement Award!!! So happy and so proud!!!</p>

<p>Did anyones Tulane Gibson account Congratulations you were accepted change to incomplete or complete and we are working on a decision. My DD acceptance was only on for less than a day (11/1) before it went off completely to a blank screen, then incomplete then complete. We have not received a letter yet… could acceptANCE BEEN A GLITCH?</p>

<p>at peace and a little shocked! Tulane and U Miami have been DS top choices all along. I don’t think he will get $$ from Miami (Miami says that you need a 1350 to be considered for merit $$ and DS has a 1330), so Tulane is looking like it just became #1 (personally, I like Tulane better, so that’s just fine with me!).</p>

<p>Madre - highly unlikely the acceptance is the glitch, but for something this important to both the future and your peace of mind, a call to admissions would be in order.</p>

<p>I’m new to the CC forums but have been following this thread for the past couple weeks and LOVE it. Great info and updates. So, my D’s status was officially compete on 11/7 and we received a “Congratulations” message today! Crazy fast! I texted my D and had her log in at lunch to share the good news!</p>
