How to Acquire Recommendations from Teachers

I'm using the Common Application to apply to about 6 different school, all of which require two Recommendations. I know what two teachers I want to ask, but I've been waiting to ask them because I don't know how to go about it.

Are they allowed to give the recommendation to me so that I can photocopy it and pay the postage for the six copies? Or do I ask them to copy their recs themselves, and then seal them all in envelopes and then give it to me?

I just don't know how this is done.

Thanks

No. Either your teachers or your counselor will photocopy them and send them to colleges…but what grade are you in?

I’m applying for a Junior transfer, so I"m a sophomore.

Please tell me that Junior transfers don’t need recs, and that’s why you asked!! haha

" Ma’am/Sir, could you please write a recommendation for me for these and these ruddy colleges,. I would remain ever grateful."…lol…
you just go and “ASK”. Never mind what the teacher says…and whatever she/he says…just say a “thank you” at the end!~!! LOL

Lol ok, sounds good lol. So it seems the best idea is to give them pre-paid envelopes?

I really want to read what they write though! haha
