Man, just wear good clothes, nice cologne, gel your hair but don't overdo it. And tell your parents you have to use acutane. You just have to use it to get rid of your acnes and improving your appearance.

To gain weight, you need to eat frequently and calorie dense foods. Examples include nuts, avacado, cooking w/olive oil, peanut butter and salmon. All of these contain good fats.

If you refuse to eat meat, make sure you're gettng enough protein from other sources. Dairy isn't bad for this. Try to eat about every 3 hours, and make sure you're not eating lots of junk. It's much better to put on lean weight, not just fat.

Are you lifting at the gym? If not, this might be a good time to hire a personal trainer, just for one session. I know it can be a little pricey, but he or she can show you exactly what you need to do and the correct form.

For your skin- Have you tried Retin A or Retin A Micro? What about Differin? Sounds like it's time to ask your dermatologist about new options. You might also want to try over-the-counter stuff, such as Paula's Choice 2% BHA (you can order it online). Lots of people who didn't have success with prescription meds found that this workds fantastically well. Another option is to try the regimen on w w w. a c n e . o r g (take out the spaces). When Retin A was doing crap for me, I started using this and my skin has been completely clear for three years.

Brushing your teeth? What does that do? How?

Try and stock up on some nonmeat protein foods. Peanut butter, eggs, fish (do you consider this meat?).... Running and lifting weights would be a good idea too. Don't worry about being big and buff. There are plenty of girls who find skinny (well maybe I should say slender) guys attractive over those with the big muscle.

As for the acne, search the high school forum for a thread on pimples. People gave some good advice there. I would personally like to recommend Aveeno and Neutrogena products, their face wash ones anyway. 2-3 times a day.

Try to stay away from junk food, get decent amounts of sleep and try not to stress so much. I had some acne when I was in high school. I don't get so much now that I'm 18. So it does clear up. Just don't pick or do anything that will scar.

ok this is coming from a girl, mind you. just a few pointers:

1)whiten ur teeth--though u didnt mention u had bad teeth, pearly whites are very endearing!
2)get rid of that acne like a bad habit! if you're medication isn't working..get a new one...immediately!
3)invest in a good cologne-a good scent can be very sexy
4)being skinny is not a bad thing. im often most attracted to skinny guys, but if it would make you feel better, lift weights like 3 times a week.
5)get a good haircut/grow ur hair out...whatever's more becoming to you.

women really like cologne in an everyday sort of way? i just can't get ahold of this one. you can smell good/not bad and not wear cologne. plus, if you have skin problems, can cologne affect it?

if your going to buy a cologne buy one that is naturally smelling and doesn't overwhelm the significant other. don't buy some cheap stuff that is crap because then your wasting your money and going to smell intense. some of the best colognes have subtle smells, or exotic or spicy. find one that complements your personality and tastes.

but the biggest piece of advice is to buy a cologne that compliments you. its bad when you buy a cologne and the colognes presence subsumes everything else that is occuring.

Just wondering but often are you shaving? I found that once I had to start shaving every day acne problems really did die down for me. However it should also be considered that by the time this happened I was already 17 and it could have gone away because I was getting older. I'm 19 now and my complexion has completly cleared up, so there is a chance you might just have to wait and get a bit older.

My auntie gave me some advice last summer that stuck in my head:
"Find a scent that's subtle, yet noticable. It'll surprise people, and trust me, most women like being pleasantly surprised."

I bought it, she sounded like she knew what she was talking about, not to mention shes a pimpette. ;)

For acne problems, try using the face wash that's on www.no-acne.com
I started using it my sophomore of high school and it really works (at least for me)... too bad I have lots of acne scars on the sides of my face now...

I guess everyone has different opinions on what to use for acne, and believe me I've tried almost everything.

Surprisingly enough, I decided to use PROACTIV around march/april this year and I've been using it since. I have DEFINATELY seen a big improvement, I do not get those big nasty pimples that look like hills on my face and hurt, the general complexion looks a lot better, and it just feels better. You should definately try proactiv, and if it starts to work, or if you doubt it, keep on it for a couple months. The $50 I pay every 3 months is definately worth my face now.

As for gaining weight, I also have/had that problem. I went to my doctor and she gave me a prescription that helps people who can't gain weight due to a sickness or those who suddenly lost weight and their trying to gain it back, and I've used it along with eating like 2904723047x more than usual and I've gained like almost 20 pounds. I plan to start going to the gym starting first week of January for like 3-4 days a week to build muscle off of it. And other than that, you have to start working on your body for your clothes that you buy to look good on you. Believe me, I know how you feel cuz I hate how sometimes my clothes don't/didn't fit me because of my skinniness.

I keep myself clean and wash my face every night with Clearasil and warm water. And I shave a couple times a week, though now it's looking like I'll have to do it 3 times a week. NO ONE, except Harrison Ford in a fedora, looks good with stubble. It also seems to keep the acne at bay.

Cologne? Screw that. Use nice soap, maybe a little lotion.

Unless you're going out on a date, you don't really need to dress well. I wear a hooded sweatshirt most days.

So yeah, don't go insane on this cosmetic stuff. You're not a chick. Just have good hygiene.
