I think you lack confidence if you can't talk to a girl, but here are my tips!
Be a gentlemen meaning

-Hold the door for the girl and ask how's she's doing
-If you see a girl struggling with carrying her books offer her to carry her books
-If you're standing behind a cute girl and she's about to order something stop her before she does and pay for the items she ordered *this works and makes her like you even more!! esp. if you're paying for her drink at Starbucks ;)
-If you have pretty eyes use them to your advantage to get into her face!!!

^These are my tips and if you have any questions feel free to ask!! Or just post some of your own tips and ideas but remember in the end always BE YOURSELF these are just ice breakers

Ok now for some MAN advice (not from USCgurl, no offense):
-No pickup lines, be the man, not someone who does everything the lady wants, too ordinary. Chicks get asked for their number all day everyday, why you?
-Cocky+Funny= Magic. Poke fun.
-Here's something you guys can all use, after talking to a girl for a few minutes (4 min MAX), say you have to leave/go somewhere/etc. take a few steps away and then turn around and say, Hey, do you have an email? Slip a pen and paper, and as she is writing down her email, say firmly: write down your phone number as well. works all the time.

Basically what I am trying to say here is that DONT be like everyone else, stand out by poking fun, not like everyone else who drools and becomes the girl's *****.

I don't even like guys that I'm dating paying for me...it makes me uncomfortable...so a stranger trying to pay for me would be way too much. Nice gesture, I guess, but I wouldn't suggest it.

And the email/number thing. I'd look up at them and "firmly" say no...and probably wouldn't even give them my email after being ordered around, either.

That's what she said. Girls never admit to this but the nice guy always finishes last. Well not always but this is something you either totally agree with, or see as absurd.

I like nice guys...I don't like being ordered to give someone my phone number.

With the paying thing, it's just a weird thing of mine. A lot of my guy friends pay for me when we go somewhere together. Well, I know how hard they work for their money and all the things they have to pay for (car payments, insurance, gas, repairs, food, clothes, and the such), and it just makes me feel bad because I don't work for my money. It's very nice of them to pay every now and then, but still.

Lmao. This is so true. The easiest way to get girls is to be an exchange students. How are the girls at USC? Southern Cal blondie babes? God, that's awesome.

Hmmm...30 years ago I met a girl who was gorgeous, with waist length pure blonde hair. She had a car, I didn't. She had money, I had none. She drove and paid for many things at first. I used to wash her car in return. We became great friends.

A year later she became my girlfriend. Two years later we got married.

26 years passed...we now have two daughters - going to college. We're still married. I pay for virtually everything and have for 24 years. We're still enjoying the heck out of each other.

Such women and men are still out there...go find them.

For point #3, like neverborn said, it's creepy from a stranger. That's not a gentleman; that's a stalker. You should at least know the girl a bit before you pay for her.
