This semester, I may be getting 2 Bs (APUSH, and AP Chemistry). I have never gotten A B before (and hopefully won’t in the future either). How will colleges (especially U of Michigan) look at this?
What grade are you in? Also, colleges understand that AP classes are harder, but you can always explain why you’re grades are lower (illness, financial problems, bullying, etc) on applications.
I am a sophomore.
I’d strongly recommend against focusing in on any particular schools during your sophomore year.
Why? Majority of my peers already have a target school and I have been thinking about University of Michigan for a couple of years now.
Because you have only done 1/3 of the academic work you will be judged on, presumably don’t have any standardized test scores, and may or may not want the same things out of a college as a graduating senior as you do now.
