Humanities Major SAT Subject Tests?

All the colleges I want to go to require or strongly recommend taking 2-3 subject tests
I plan to major in humanities but I’m not quite sure which subject tests to take
I’ve heard most people recommend one math, one science, and one humanities
However, I feel like I would personally do better on the history and literature exams
I’m also taking AP BC calc, so would getting a 4 or 5 on that make up for not taking a math subject test?
What should I take?
Thanks for your time

take what you feel comfortable taking is what I was told. Like you, I’m waaaaaay more comfortable taking humanities subject tests than math. Take literature and perhaps both us history and world history? And one science that you are knowledgable about n can see yourself studying easily.

However, colleges do like to see well rounded kids that are capable to doing well in all subjects, not just their favorite ones. So you may want to consider that.

Only one school that I know of (Georgetown) requires 3 subject tests. Most recommend 2. If you are taking AP BC Calc, you should have no problem with the Math II subject test. You could take it any time, since it covers material that you have already learned.

Usually you take the subject test at the end of the school year with whatever classes align with the test, although Literature can be taken any time. What classes are you taking this year?

NYU also requires three

@nyuhopeful44 Incorrect, NYU does NOT require 3 subject tests.
