Anybody know of any good and easy humanity classes to fulfill the requirements?
I need to do 6 credits. Also, I need to do 3 credits for social sciences, if anybody know of any good classes. If I can, I want to focus those classes with a science foundation. I will be going into pre-med, and it would be nice if my classes related. Hope you can help!

Bioethics is in the religion department… With Childress. It was RelG 265 when I took it in 2006, but he is teaching one now called RelG 2210 Religion, Ethics, and the Environment… Also there is a Judaism and Science class offered next semester with Peter Ochs who is awesome.

You could always take 1 foreign language class above your requirement to satisfy the other department. I got that one through AP credit. Otherwise I have heard decent things about the general music non-performance classes (history of jazz, computers and music, etc).

Social sciences is significantly easier, take any intro psych course, they all have biological backgrounds. Child psych or social psych are decent classes.

^I think you are referring to “The Religion and Ethics of Medicine” with Childress, which is indeed a GREAT class, but is only offered in the fall :). I definitely recommend it.

Mine was actually called Theology Ethics and Medicine but the subtitle was Bioethics. Like I said it was 2006 but same professor same spiel.

Great class! I loved it.
