Is hume really that bad?

Bad? I don’t know by what metric hume could be called bad. It’s a nice place. There are some really weird people living there, but I enjoyed hume.

True, bad choice of words. I mean as far as weird people. Is their really a social life there
?

It tends to be a quieter dorm. However, the rooms and building itself is far superior to any other dorm on campus (with the exception of Springs and Lakeside).

hotdancer. im staying in hume next year… i played baseball football and soccer… but im also prety smart… hopefully theres more athletes in hume next year!! I have a friend staying in hume thats not weird either so thats 2…

I lived in hume for my freshman year. I honestly thought everyone on my floor, except my roommate, were really weird people. I have some crazy stories about the weird stuff they did. Other people had floors that were totally chill. It’s a luck of the draw thing.

I think that’s true of any dorm though, I know a bunch of people who lived in the other dorms that just never met anybody else on their floor. In the end you’ll make friends if you want to make friends, be it at your dorm or around campus or whatever.

Whats’s so weird about the people at Hume? I thought they were all really smart students in the Honors Program.

My floor was pretty awesome the first year. I stayed on the same floor my second year and the personality totally changed though. It’s hit or miss, for sure.

Like I said, it’s not everyone at Hume. When you take people who have really high IQs, you find a bunch of perfectly normal people and a bunch of people who seem to have no idea how to relate to other human beings. I remember me and my roommate were convinced that the kid in the room next to us had died because it smelled so awful. Turns out they just hadn’t taken their trash out all semester… They didn’t have a problem with the smell. Some kids are awesome, some are awful, there’s a lot of luck involved.
