Lost count how many "no-eating rule in the class" rules i shattered during the course of my high school year. (and still got away with it. :P)

I need to eat in class in order to keep my concentration. Plus, there's no time to eat during lunch time, when you and your partner have to beat the science-teacher duo in ping pong.

Just wait until college. Most profs couldn’t care less if you bust out your bento box and nom nom nom. It’s different in seminar situations. But, for the most, you’ll have the opportunity to eat constantly without the fear of being admonished. Or is that part of the fun?

On a related note, I had a handful of peanut M&Ms in the breast pocket of my t-shirt during the SATs. Between sections, I’d stuff a few in my mouth, chew wildly, and keep my eyes still on the proctor. I must’ve looked like a maniac. But, before the final section, I didn’t time things correctly. I shoved the remaining little bastards in my mouth when the proctor shouted “You may begin!”

I knew I couldn’t chew. I did the final section of my last sitting of the SAT with a mouthful of peanut M&Ms sloooooowly dissolving on my tongue, in my cheeks, etc. The thought of it still unnerves me a bit.

Yeah I eat in class. Most teachers don’t mind or bother to tell people otherwise. You can usually just have a bag of chips in your backpack on the floor or hide it behind your backpack on your desk if your teacher doesn’t really allow it. A few teachers this year would let you have breakfast in class (like a bagel or cereal or whatever) and then lunch the class before lunch (like a sandwich or something) even though the school rules forbid it.

This year we threw our teacher a surprise party for her 1/2 birthday complete with balloons, streamers, and of course, tons of food So I guess that’s one way to have food too. You could probably just say you want to pass out brownies for someones birthday too?

We’re not allowed to have any food or drink except for water. I do eat in my programming class though, because he doesn’t care. He’s the man. We got our teacher a cake for his birthday too and brought in food and had a party, so yea, that works.

All of senior year I never ate lunch during lunch. It was almost always in AP calc or w/e class was right before lunch haha. Most of my teachers had a “no eating” policy but they let me break it just cause im me.

Wow lucky bums you are. You’re certainly not allowed to eat in labs thought right? I have one teacher who sometimes give out lollies or brought snacks that she made at home and let us eat in her class. Once she gave us these sugary hard stuff that i now completely forgot the name of and I was sucking it all the way to my next class which was bio. When the bio teacher saw it she wanted to spank me coz our classroom was also a lab room. I also happened to be sitting in the front row.

Seriously, people just love to scream “Contamination”! hah.

In my ALL my classes, teachers tried to say “no eating”, but we basically go out and have potlucks in class. Especially in my German class. Since the class is split into to two parts, so my part of the German class always brings a lot of food and we put our desk together and pig out. Or sometimes, i ll leave from that class in the middle of class and go to my ex-spanish class and get food and bring it back to class. My teacher would always get mad, but it was all good in the hood. xD

One of my friends used to eat in class a lot, because she had a weird lunch period that was really late and not really a lunch period, but a study hall.

Anyways, none of our teachers really care if you eat, unless you’re doing a lab. Not that anyone would want to munch on anything with all that K2CrO4 around anyways.

I dont eat in all my classes, usually once ( in one class) every day. Though I don’t make it noticeable to the teacher I’m eating since most do care, and it’s hard to figure out at times if they care or don’t.
