I got an acceptance letter

i got accepted also...i really didn't expect it so early...its funny because it actually says april 1 2007 on the letter.

I got a scholarship for 5K. ehhh. i dunno. it is an awesome school but who knows?

Yes, it is a folder that encloses the acceptance, a Dean's Scholarship letter, a financial aid letter, and miscellaneous brochures. The Scholarship is $14,800. The aid is just a work study and Stafford loan. Good luck everyone.

I got my aid and grants today too, and it all came too 22000, but from the aid I got from Boston U it would be cheaper going to BU. I'm still waiting on other schools' fin. aid but I don't think I'll be going to Fordham.

I got in today too. $7000 scholarship. i love this school.

Congratulations to all, especially BridgetG389. It is great to get accepted to a school you love. You must be very excited.

I never got that likely letter that the original poster got, but Fordham sent me a nice Dean's Scholarship. The Dean's Scholarship is always worth at least $10,000 and varies from student to student. I got $18,900.

yayyyyy!! i got a 10,000 scholarship! wooooot =)

How much is Fordham's tuition (I also got the Dean's scholarship, $18,500 and like $3000 ish for something loan related.)

I got in today too. Early email that said letter would be arriving around Wens. is anyone doing the Theater program at Lincoln Center?

thanks CMA:)

congrats to alllll!

I have been reading all of the acceptances and some students say they have heard via e-mail. I called today and the admissions counselor told me that Fordham NEVER notifies via e-mail and she had no idea what I was talking about-go figure. More misinformation at such a difficult time.

***. my friend just heard from them too, got a 20k+ scholarship, and she didn't get one of those likely letter. erm...my mailbox is lacking fordham mail...

i still havent heard and im gettin kinda nervous...neone know if u apply to the bronx campus nd not directly into business if its easier to get in?

no clue, my friend applied to lincoln center, and so did i.

pmm2127- the college you're referring to (Fordham College at Rose Hill) has nearly the same requirements as every other college under Fordham (FCLC and CBA). The only program that's very different in terms of admission is dance.

The reason I say "nearly the same requirements" is b/c of CBA-- while CBA is competitive, it is the least competitive college to get into at Fordham. (In terms of SAT's average is 1176 at CBA which is lower than the rest of the school).

cbpmom- i don't know if someone answered this already but i assume when people were talking about the e-mails they got they were referring to the "fordham accepted students" e-mail i think all or most of us that got accepted recieved...it basically says you got accepted, you should come visit us april 14th and if you didn't get your letter already you'll be getting it by wednesday.

DD got in - 7k scholarship, w/s and loans. no enough to afford it, but still..a thrill to be accepted by such a great school.

Anyone hear about dance? It seems those would have been the earliest decisions to be made.

thank you so much!!! I wonder if that means that if you didn't get it, that yuou didn't get in :(

should i be worried i didn't get the email? did everyone get that email? i'm getting really frighten that fordham didn't accept me. lol
