I got in UCI as a senior???!

Your Admission Summary
Level:
Major:
School: Senior
Biological Sciences
School of Biological Sciences

omg??
but I didn't enrolled in any 4 years university b4!
totally lmao

ahhhhah you are too old--senior. J/K

Wait, that is really weird, I never heard UCs would accept senior transfers.

I have no idea. I think it is a joke. I applied as junior transfer, how come it turns out to be a senior transfer. This is just hilarious. I'll try to see if they will change tomorrow, if not, I will call UCI.

How many units did u transfer with

about 100 units.

But all the units are from ccc!

<a href="http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/apply_majors_ucr.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/apply_majors_ucr.html</a></p>

I've just checked, UCR does accept senior transfer, but I don't know other UC's. And I'm not admitted as a senior transfer at UCR! UCI lists me as a senior, this must be a joke. I don't think I'm admitted.

wow 100 units!? i have 72

I have 8 units of esl class, 4 units of math class that are not UC transferable, 12 units of W.

Especially for a Bio major, I hightly doubt you're admitted as a senior unless you have completed upper div somewhere else. Also, only 60 units of transferable credit is transferrable, which amounts to about junior status, just give them a call

yes, I'll phone them tomorrow if they don't change it today.

wow.... I know other UCs don't accept transfers as seniors... man, that is so odd...

I would like to see how it will turn out, this is a weird case...

stay a senior, you'll get enrollment priority

100 units thats a lot how long were you in CC for.

Yes, I spend almost like 4 years in CC, cuz I did bad 2 years ago and wasted 23 units on W's and D's. This is my bad. :( Otherwise, I would have only like 7x units.

Hey, shirleyxY, Do the D affect your GPA even after you repeat the courses and got better grades?

I ask this question once but didn't see any respond so sorry to ask again.

shirleyxY dont feel bad at least you made it out now and can be a inspiration to students who are in the same position. Oh yeah I never said congratulations and what other scolls did you apply to.

I think no, those D's don't affect my gpa, but the C affects me much more. I have 2.0 for the whole sequence of o-chem. I asked a UCR counselor last week, and he told me I have to retake the whole sequence @ucr!!!! sucks!!!!That means I have to retake the whole sequence at any UC'S!!!!

The D's make you look ugly, but the C harms you more!

Oh...
UCR make you retake the courses because your grades for those courses are C... sorry to hear that..> :(
