I have 56 units

I have 56 semester units.

I have completed all IGETC requirements and will be TAP certified.

UC's say I am required to have 60 units. Will this be an issue? Should I have waited another year to apply just because of 1 class?

Thanks in advance for your help, advice, and comments.

AFAIK, 60 units is a firm requirement. You still have time to add two online classes and update your application, though.

Really just add one four unit class or two two units classes and then update your application. It would be silly to wait an entire year for four units.

if you have ap credit, then you dont have to take another class.

I almost had the same problem and since I couldn't take on another real class, I took PE. It is the super circuit class and is worth 2 units. I'm doing the online class and you just log your work outs that are outside of the class or you check in at the schools gym and stay however long you want. It's very easy! This is my second semester doing this. Does you school have anything similar? I would suggest doubling up on PE classes if it were possible and there was any way to enrol at this point. Without that 60...I don't know if you will be accepted but it may depend on your choice of school.
