My eyes feel like they're going to fall out yet no matter what I do I just can't sleep. It's 9:30am.

Somebody save me. Insomnia has been taken to a whole new level. :(

Somebody save me. Insomnia has been taken to a whole new level. :(

Oh nos!! You need help!! Have you talked to your doctor about sleep medication?

No. I'm scared I'll get addicted to sleep meds. :(

I can't seem to wake up early anymore.

Rather than take sleep medication, just go for a nice long walk or jog, take a Tylenol PM or Benedryl before you leave, and stay away from caffeine drinks. Then make sure your room is nice and cool, and dark, and go to sleep. But if you're doing this during the day, don't sleep any more than about four hours, or you won't be able to sleep tonight.

Stop drinking caffeine after 4:00 and don't sit/lay in your bed unless you are going to sleep. Reading something boring helps too.

i havnt slept either my sleeping patern is MESSED UP this summer -_-

Yeah, my sleeping habits in the summer generally suck. It's usually so hot in my room that I can't fall asleep, even when I turn the A/C on.

Have you actually tried getting on bed and staying still for an hour or so?

Well, if all else fails, read Shakespeare.

I have trouble sleeping during the summer also. :(

Um... I didn't sleep any of the nights I had to drive for driver's ed. Guess what, I still did better than the other person with us! :)

But I have my days reversed now too. :(

Take Benadryll (the allergy thing).

It's side effect is (according to the box) "marked drowsiness". In fact, taking two pills will send you straight to bed for 5+ hours. It's a wonderful thing. ;)

P.S- Yes I do take Benadryll as a sleeping aid. =)

Try Cahlms (I have no idea if I spelled that right) Forte. My mom swears by it. It's an all-natural sleep aide, and it's non-narcotic so it's pretty much impossible to get addicted to it (I'm sure you could if you took enough, but you get my point). And I think you can just buy it at CVS/Rite Aid.

^^^ I take allergy pills as sleep aids too lol. Benadryl knocks me out for at least 10 hours if I take it before going to sleep.

The night before the SAT, I just couldn't sleep. I tried taking Nyquil to help me fall asleep, but with no luck. Is there anything that will help me sleep that won't give me a dependency upon it?

Yes! I totally second the part about reading something boring. I was trying to read a Charles Dickens book once, and that was the best sleep aid I've ever had.

A habit I picked up this year that helped me go to sleep:
Watch the Tonight show

Its not that it bores me (Leno is great) but for some reason it just makes me sleepy, especially when I turn off the lights.

Who can sleep at 9pm ish during vacation? I go to bed at 1Am and wake up at 12pm~1AM

Take some opium it will help you sleep.

9 AM not PM.
