I know this has been asked A LOT....but

Simple and plain, thinking about taking the SAT a fourth time :/ Take a look first before you dismiss me

1st sitting: 1940
2nd sitting: 1950

so at this point, people told me to forget about the SAT cuz my scores were too similar, decided to take it though

3rd sitting: 2090

Considering ry

Considering the 140 point jump, maybe take it again? I know my math can go up. have a 750 highest. and my writing as well. highest is 730. 47 mcq 9 essay. and CR is 650. so a 2130 super. opinions please? im applying to a lot of top tiers, just got rejected from Cornell. Found out a lot of kids applying had a higher score, and my GC advised another take at it.

sorry for the split, using phone and sometimes I accidently press submit, its like a mm above my keyboard

i think it is hard to go beyond the 650 mark, but it is possible with so much hard work. wouldn’t go for it if i were you

bump10char

Brother, anything is possible if you put your heart and mind to it!!!

insha allah

assuming you’ll be done with apps soon and you’ll have more time to focus on sats, i think you should. it’s really cutting it close and i’m not sure how much it will help your application but if you believe it’s one of your weak points and you can definitely bring it up, give it a 4th try. there’s no shame.

^my gc said the same. He said you’ll have 3 weeks to prepare without exams or apps getting in the way. Just check which colleges accept the jan score and which dont. Even if they dont, send it, you never know. Worst case scenario they use ur current sat which isnt bad by any means.

Asalamualaikum, so what did u actually get on the SAT though? Can you give me some tips for the CR section?
