I want to get into NYU, which is a total shocker for my mother. To be blunt, I had a fair share of rebel years in my first two years of high school. I took my education for granted and I didn't think about my future.

I've only taken one AP class. I'm currently taking APUSH + an Honors. My senior year I plan taking 3 AP classes.

I know getting to NYU is difficult, my chances are slim to none. But is there any hope or any other way?

AND, be mean. Be as honest as possible.

There definitely is! Do you have any special/interesting ECs? That’ll definitely help you get in. Depends on what you’re planning to study there though

Is there really?!

I actually want to be in the media industry. I spend most of my time writing stories which I publish online.
I want to major in Journalism, minoring in media or film.

EC? Well, I’m taking a pottery class, and I’m pretty sure my teacher thinks I’m her prodigy haha. I joined a few clubs at school, currently a publicist for one. And I just started volunteering at the hospital.

If not NYU, will claiming for St. john’s be better?
