I Want to Transfer?

I am going to be a freshmen at UCSB in a couple of weeks. However, I want to transfer into USC or Stanford after my first year to major in biology and become a pharmacist. What should I do? Is this possible? Can anyone give me some advice? Has anyone did this before? I really need some pointers, please. Thanks.

Transferring to USC is possible. Transferring to Stanford is virtually impossible, but I don’t get the rationale anyway. You can get a pharmacy Masters after graduating from UCSB as well.

If you want to be a pharmacist there is absolutely no reason to transfer to USC or Stanford. In fact, unless you are instate and getting a good financial deal at UCSB…I would transfer to a cheaper CalState school of your choice with a pharmacy program close to your home or where you want to settle down. NO ONE will care about where you went to pharmacy school to get a job…as long as you are LICENSED in your state. And, I am being serious. This is also true for those who want to become nurses. Save your (parent’s) money.
