dude it's ok ..stuff happens, and you don't have to party to be kool u just need to be sociable and at the same time private. that's wat i did and now people respect me... i'm called chikorudo (badboy).

Honestly, it's not the end of the world. Wherever anybody decides to go to school, you will likely find a plethora of people that are like you or at least very similar. Regardless, do not force yourself to fall into the "party animal" category if that does not suit your personality. Be yourself and everything will work itself out. On the other hand, and good advice for anyone; you could have tried doing some research prior to going to school and see if it was your scene. There's a lot of good ways to go about this but i used CampusCompare.com, where actual students at actual schools review it on everything from social life to academics. That way, you can get an idea of the school and the people there before you make a mistake...try it -- it worked for me

Are you talking about transferring? Damn, I love my school. It's just that I was surprised that I was expected to party and wondered if that was a universal trend.

^ Yeah at my school, you're expected as well.

^ Yeah, but that's to be expected at party central.

it's fine, you don't have to drink. no one cares. everyone is basically respectful of everyone else and their choices, and if someone isn't respectful, then they can suck it.
=]

^ true that.

I think partying doesnt determine if youre cool or not, simply because if one doesnt like to party perfectly you can still be cool. Im not saying that partying is bad specially because it is awesome but, if one doesnt party ot isnt bad either.
