If I got a 4 on AP Stat, how will Stat 21 be?

<p>I'm going to be taking Stat 21 next semester. I got a 4 on AP Stat, how will this class be? The only thing I'm worried about is that AP Stat isn't Calculus-based. Is Stat 21 Calc-based? If so, how much Calc knowledge is needed?</p>

<p>stat 21 is easy, basic math. only problem is you could easily mess up on calculations when inputting into calculator. my other concern was that i didn’t get enough time on midterm and messed up, but yeah, other than that, should be easy. i never even took stats in high school.</p>

<p>I’d say calculus is more of a soft-requirement than a hard one. You only need to know calculus to understand the theory, but you will never do a problem that actually involves calculus.</p>

<p>Got a 4 on Stats, taking stat 21 currently, and i’d say it’s pretty competitive. there isn’t much calculus but make sure you don’t fall behind because most of the kids taking the class are aiming for haas :P</p>
