i'm confused. chances?

Hi i'm an international student and really want to get into Chicago.
However I think my SATs scores aren't v good after reading the threads here.
CR 660
maths 770
writing 670.
sat IIs nt out yet but prob all around 700+
my ECs are ok, and I am hoping to write a good essay, so would just like to check my chances. thanks beforehand for the help and advice .

Your scores are great! I think that making conclusions based on CC threads is a terrible practice because: 1) CC posters are a self-selecting group, and as a whole represent only the upper echelon of test takers, and 2) many people exaggerate their scores, or guess at them, as you did when you said that you expect "all around 700+" for your SAT IIs.
I have no idea about your chances, since you don't provide us with anything other than standarized testing.
You say you are confused, and I will be glad to help you with your confusion....was that a gimick to grap attention, or is there something you are really confused about?

thanks for replying. haha no that was a gimmick to grab attention. it seems that most ppl here are v helpful so i had no need for that. anyway what other details u need?
for me, there's only the A levels. which i got AA BB. i hope they won't take this into consideration.
as for ECs, i compete at national levels, and had won national schools championship.
i'm nt sure what other stuff are needed.
and thanks a lot again.

I thought that overseas schools might compute some type of gpa or class rank, which together form the most significant aspect of a U.S. applicant's file. But your scores are great, and very much within the mid 50% of UChicago's accepted applicant's scores.
Good luck!
