so i'm leaving Maine today to go to Atlanta. I'll be there until Sunday, and I need some interesting things to do in the city itself while I'm not visiting Emory. For everyone that has visited, do you have any suggestions for me? i'm leaving my house at 9AM EST so post quickly! thanks.

Have a nice trip. The students are on break so it will be a bit quiet. Depends what you like to do but consider the Martin Luther King museum; the new aquarium; shopping at Lennox mall and Buckhead; see if there are any good games in town (Duke plays Georgia Tech but a bit later maybe on the 10th- also professional bball); always good music if you like that. Have a Pizza at Everybody's in the Emory Village. During school there is enough going on on the campus to keep you entertained and amused but tap into Atlanta if the campus is dead. Have a nice trip!

Have a wonderful time at Emory! Be sure to walk around Lullwater Park which connects the main campus to the Clairmont campus. It's beautiful!

Also, familiarize yourself with the MARTA, the public transportation system. Actually, take it into the center of Atlanta to sightsee or to visit local malls that you might visit if you attend Emory. It's also the best way to get to and from the airport. We are from New Hampshire and our son (a freshman Bio major) finds the MARTA to be a very efficient and affordable means of transportation.

Good luck and enjoy your visit!

I wanna go visit again :(...jk. have fun!

i'd say that you should visit the new aquarium (the biggest in the world) because it is really impressive. if you like art, you should check out the high museum of art or the on-campus carlos museum. i dont know if our library is open now but, if it is, take a look around because they don't show you how great it is on the tours. the tenth floor is a must. have fun.

The world of coke!!

stare in awe at all the pick up trucks
