Assuming my GPA is at least 3.9 by the end of this fall, with a little ECs and a good essay:
1. which one is easier for me to be admitted, Econ or Media studies??
2. If i choose either one of them, can i switch to the other one after i arrive at berkeley? Is that easy to do or just impossible??
3. Since Berkeley admits students by division, why they still label some majors as the capped? I mean if in that way, Economics should be as same as African American Studies. Am i right??
Please help!! Thank you !!!

1: I say Media studies, cause I here its like 30%. As for Econ. not so sure. I'm pretty sure its more impacted than medias.
2: You can't not change majors once admitted. Basically you're stuck with the major you have. I asked my TAP Berkeley coordinator about this. And my Honor's counselor. People often here this "myth" and go straight for it, without any research or asking questions.
3: I am not sure what you mean? Are you saying if Econ and African studies are in same Letters and Science college division and that are equally the same and doesn't matter what degree you have? If you're thinking that you're dead wrong. They are totally separate. If you're thinking if Econ is the same as Biz Econ than that's something different cause those two relate.
