I'm only a month into AP language so..will context come into play?

So I just checked out my SAT II results and was rather horrified to see that a scored a 590 in Lit. Last year I took AP US history and scored a 720 on the SAT II that summer. Based off of that, will colleges be more likely to view my 590 in the context that I've only had my AP Language class for a quarter so far? I'm taking the SAT I again in December so this may really be my final score in Lit.

Any an all advice would be great...

…bump… O_O

No, I doubt they’d view it in that context because it would be a bit too much work for them (seriously, if they tried to connect the dots for everyone, it’d take a while) and because people elect to take whatever SAT II tests they choose (with minor exception of Math II), so they’d expect people to be somewhat prepared (even if you have to prepare on your own, you could have prep’d on your own). Maybe you can just not report the Lit score?

Lit is one of the subject tests you can’t exactly prepare for. I bet at the end of the year you won’t be scoring much above a 590… so I doubt they look at in “context.”
