Im out of state, is it worth applying if im looking for aid?

plz let me know

Aid as in scholarships or financial aid? For financial aid, that depends on your income and stuff so I don’t know about that. But in terms of scholarships, it isn’t. Rutgers deadline for scholarships was December 1st so you wouldn’t be able to receive one and their scholarships are very selective.

@aly310 r u sure?? i called and i tink they said its possible, i forgot tho

Well to be considered for ALL merit based scholarships it was Dec 1st, so anything left wont be much. Also,you’re out of state so you wouldn’t get alot considering how competitive this years pool of applicants were. What are your stats?

@Aly310‌ 2120 SAT 95+ GPA all HOnors and AP-3 5s

Although you have good stats, I don’t think its enough for even the Presidential scholarship and I’m sure they aren’t giving anymore of those out. I suggest a gap year and apply next year for the max amount of scholarships possible or go to CC and then transfer(but transfer scholarships aren’t much). But if you’re serious about Rutgers, apply and if you’re accepted, do well your first year because there are many scholarships for continuing students.
