Importance of Mid-Year reports?

with semester exams coming up, i am worried about my grades for the first semester. how important is this? are a couple B's okay?
i usually am able to pull up all of my grades up to A's by the end of the year.

please help because i am worried outta my mind and losing sleep!!!!!!!!111
thanks, y'all.

Obviously mid-year reports carry weight, whether or not they are as important as the transcript only an admissions officer can say. Personally, though, I would say that a one or two Bs won't kill your chances, especially if they are in really hard classes (APs/IBs). I wouldn't lose sleep over it. If you have great essays, awesome recommendations, and a decent SAT scores, I'm sure one or two Bs won't affect your chances at all. Relax and good luck.

aaah thank you yoshi729!!!!
this ap spanish exam is going to kill me.

^ haha i know exactly what you mean. AP Spanish is like my only B right now.

OMG AP Stats is killing me...last mp I had my first Bs in AP Stats and AP Physics C. This mp I pulled up my Physics grade (I think it's an A right now), but my BC Calc is a little dangerous...and stats is still a B. xP

and ap british literature!!! oh god no more john donne or sir walter raleigh - enough!!!!!

all of my b's are like 89's and my a's are low 90's. this makes me want to pull out my hair and chew on it!!!!!!!!

what if you have a b in a ridiculously easy class? i have a b in journalism because i got in a fight with my teacher (then i got in school supervision lol). i mean, i have a's in every ap class, except i have a b in this remedial crap not worthy to be considered a course....

Yea, I have a B+ in AP English and A- in AP Stats and orchestra. how much will this hurt me?

yeah some of my grades are kind of...slipping...otherwise I'm a 3.9 gpa student

I'm not an admissions officer, but I would suspect that they value senior year grades highly. During this year, you personally are most like the student who will attend their college and your courses are most similar to those you will take at their college.
