<p>would I need strong EC and Essay w/ this stats?
or do i have strong chance without them?

<p>The GPA seems like it might be a little low... But those are good SAT scores. Also I can promise you that strong EC's and a good essay wont hurt in the least.</p>

<p>your GPA is somewhat low, but perhaps that's because of the competitive high school that you go to. everything else looks fine. it's probably too late to get good EC's at this point (i'm assuming you're a senior), but please do write a good essay. oftentimes, many people overlook this, and this miss out on this opportunity that could've pushed them over the top. </p>
