In state tranfer!!

In state community college students are pretty much locks to get in, RIGHT???????

The chances are higher the more credits you have. I believe its still GPA driven and higher probability if you have a full AA from the CC

Well there is an agreement between the CCs and the Universities but it is not a lock. You have to take certain courses and have a certain GPA at the community college to transfer. Ask your CC what you have to have to go to say UMCP for the major you plan to study. Usually if you have the GPA and the other reguirements for your major, you get into Maryland.

I also believe you are better off waiting until you have your AA.

Also, the GPA that matters is what you’ve done at the CC.

Thanks! because as of now i have 56 credits and a 3.2 GPA, i applied for fall 2012 but im kind of scared my GPA is too low.

You’re probably fine…relax!
