Incoming Freshman Thread

Hey guys! I thought it would be fun to start a thread for incoming freshman at OSU.

Well, a little bit about me: I live about 1/2 hour away from Columbus. I plan to major in Psychology and minor in Spanish. I will be in the Honors Program, and, if things work out, I will be staying in Bradley Hall. Hopefully, I’ll meet some of you at Ohio State.

So, if you feel like sharing a little bit about yourself… go ahead! :)

honors program too, have lived in a suburb of columbus my whole life, chose a full ride at osu over some top-25 type schools with no aid at all. Plan to major in political science, maybe double up with philosophy. I've been to many buckeye games in my time here, but going as a student will be so much better. 2nd game of the year v. Texas, if College GameDay comes, i'm definitely there.

I received a full tuition scholarship at Ohio State, and I just couldn't pass it up! Besides, it's OSU! :D Yeah, I want to go to a lot of football games (and hockey games) too.

sigh, i've got about a week to choose between OSU or Texas :o I don't even know who I'm going for in that september game :(

I'm sorry, hookemhorns. I'm sure you'll make the right decision! :)

What are your prospective majors? I might applyl next year, just depends. I for one, live about 10-15 minutes away. Yes, I reside in the great city of columbus lol

Hey future Buckeyes. I am really excited to be starting in the fall and foresee a great 4 year experience. OSU was the last addition to my college list, but only after I visited and realized how good of a school it has become did I want to go. I am going to major in Finance and learned that the Fisher College of Business is top 20 in the nation, much better than the other schools I liked, plus at in-state tuition it would leave the option for getting an MBA. I will join a fraternity when rush happens because I view it as being a major social step and I have always liked being in a state of brotherhood. I am from the Columbus metro area and if anyone wants to get more indepth about this fall, IM me please.

Hey, my name is Steve Lipton. I'm from the Akron area and I've been accepted into the Honors College too. I just sent in my tuition deposit a few days ago, so I haven't yet received back my housing contract, but hopefully there'll be room for me in Bradley. If you want to chat, my sn is mrgraxx.
