Legacy at Carolina

Good ECs, Varsity captain of Tennis 2 years, etc.
Nothing outstanding like discovering the cure for a disease or stuff that gets you into Harvard
Hospital volunteer two summers

I don't know about you but yeah I hate the idea of wasting away my summer time cramming for the SAT. I've taken on more leadership roles in next year's ECs including president of beta club and captain of tennis team so i hope that's enough. carolina's my first choice.

uhhhh, 1290 is by no means a shoo-in. it's not like you have to do backbreaking work to study for the SAT 20 hours a week as CC would have you believe; just take about a practice test or two a week and retake. I know several people in the low 1300s who got rejected

The writing section is wonderful in the way it can get you out of ENGL 101 and 102. And I really do think you're fine IS. I know people accepted IS who had lower stats than you have.

Noname talked about people having low 1300s being rejected but I think that even if I got my score around a 1320 or so ok it only went up about 30 pts. so what difference will it make when they are going to be looking at all of my ECs and essays. 30-40 pts. isn't going to make or break an applicant will it? shouldn't i be spending this time visiting colleges, writing essays, correct me if im misguided.
