I still haven't received this letter and my parents haven't either. No early write though, so I guess it's coming.

why are there red stars on some of these threads now?

^ to show you that you've posted in those threads

Still haven't gotten my letter...maybe I should just walk there and ask for it.

I still havent received anything yet. No early write, not even the "how we evaluate" letter. I don't even know what to think...

Nope, nothing for me today either.
BUT i have moved and my mail is going though this extra thing to get it to my new address, so that might be it. i hope.

...this letter finally came! postmarked the 25th of february.

I live in New England, and it took almost a month. I hope my mailed decisions come faster!

^^ Wow.. now that's some serious delay. Did the mailman walk it to your house from Midd? :)

You know.. if there wasn't such a thing as CC we would have no idea that this letter even existed!! It's kind of like.. as long as there is no news, it can't be bad news. We are not even mentioning college around here, but it's pretty much floating in the air constantly.

S is in a REALLY touchy mood and I understand it's mostly due to not knowing what his future holds - which uncertainty is so not in his DNA. So I get it.. but it's really bugging me!!!!

Modadunn:

I completely sympathize with you. I understand the parental involvement, encouragement, and delicate balance of trying to know when to say something and when to just keep quiet. Being busy has certainly been a God-send--for our whole family!

Here are my best wishes for you and your son. I hope to read a happy post from you on the 28th!

Hang in there and good luck!

Thank you hjnmom! From your post to admission's letter! :)

Trying the busy route: see post under wasting time. Still I am so thankful to CC as it gives me a place to yak and posture incessantly while showing a level of calm in front of the kid that otherwise would be totally absent!!

Still no letter here in PA. My friends at school all got the letter. ???

This is beginning to irk me. Je veux ma lettre!

Did any deferred ED applicants get the letter? Because I didn't and I'm thinking that might be why....

fedebul, I applied EDII and also did not receive the letter. I agree with you, I do not think that the deferred ED applicants were not sent the letter.

although I'm RD and still haven't received it,.....I don't think we will ever come up with an explanation that will explain ALL the missing letters :(

I haven't gotten it either and was also deferred ED2. I'm glad y'all said something b/c I was starting to get worried!

Frogger_1234
Yeah, that must be it then. Lets hope. I haven't gotten anything from Middlebury and I am worried.

I finally got the letter today and completely freaked myself out thinking it was a rejection letter...

AvantTao: the same thing happened to me. I can't believe it took over a month to get here.
