I would've been crushed with the waitlists at WUStL's and all. I'd probably be throwing around stuff and breaking the wall and my alarm clock. PMS-ing sucks during decision time, too.</p>
<p>LOL Izzy...yes, Hanoi has warmed up. The weather in Hanoi is totally different from that in HCMC, particularly b/c we DO have a winter, unlike the perennially warm south:D Thanks for knowing your geo lesson;)

<p>I used to live in Hanoi and HCMC a few years ago. Sorry, I kind of assumed you lived in HCMC, probably because it was the last place I lived in V'nam. :o Tell me, do people still not wear helmets there?</p>

<p>i would've definately been accepted to this one school w/ my stats. but they rejected me b/c i was an international, as they explained. They had 3000 international applicants, but they admitted only 30!!!</p>

<p>I am glad that I didn't take the TOEFL and waste 130 dollar+ send scores fees. Toefl doesn't help or add something to your app...

<p>anyway - i talked for LONG with an amherst admission officer on the phone , the one who evaluated my app.</p>
<p>6000 ppl applied some 600 ppl got in. 78 intels. some 300 odd are on the waitlist. they can take any no. from 0 to 50.</p>
