My interviewer is coming to my house, and I don't know what to wear. If I were going to the interviewer's house I would usually wear a dress shirt and tie, but I would feel really wierd dressing up for the interviewer to come to my house. I still want to appear classy, but is a dress shirt and tie neccessary?

Thank You So Much!!!

that's weird they are coming TO YOUR house. I wouldn't stay in my robe, but i wouldn't put on my evening gown. I wouldn't wear my dance leotard, nor my cross country uniform. Dress as you would at the school you're at now. Don't dress for gym class though. I'd suggest a nice, neat, clean looking outfit would do. You will be fine. =]

whoa u can have an interviewer come to your house personally?

Rent the movie "Risky Business" for some helpful tips about how to prepare for an interviewer coming to your house. If my memory is correct, in that movie Tom's character was applying to Princeton and managed to impress his interviewer enough to get accepted.:)

I had an interview at my house, and I wore what I would wear to school: a skirt and a nice shirt, and I was fine.

"Looks like University of Illinois!"

"Princeton can use a guy like Joel."

Well done D'yer. You get bonus points if you can name the song Tom Cruise dances to in his underpants at the beginning of the movie.

Old Time Rock & Roll - Bob Seger

I should have anticipated that someone who posts under the name "Old School" would be the first to come up with the correct answer.

I'll sit and listen to 'em by myself
Today's music aln 't got the same soul
I like that old time rock 'n' roll

And for our younger members "records are those large black vinyl discs your parents have sitting in a box in the basement, that they never use but refuse to throw out.

haha. and a phonograph is a whole 'nother story :)

Bob Seger is a neighbor of mine. Very nice guy!

Don't try and take me to a disco.
You'll never even get me out on the floor...

That is very cool Jenny...
