My sophomore year I am taking AP Bio and AP Euro. I'm getting A's in both and the workload isn't too bad. Next year I want to take AP Lang, APUSH, AP Calc AB, APES, and self-study AP Psych. Do you think this is too much? I don't want to waste all my time studying I could be using for living life.

I think it’s doable, but you know yourself best.

AP Lang: definitely doable
APUSH: If you have a strong memory, then this course should be alright
AP Calc AB: Everyone has different opinions. I personally loved Calc AB and thought the class/exam were alright, but if you’re not a STEM person, this will be difficult
APES: Heard it’s pretty easy, little bit heavier on the memorization side.
AP Psych: similar to APUSH in that it’s memory intensive.

3/5 of these courses are memory intensive. If you can remember facts and info easily, then I’d go for it. Otherwise, I’d drop APES and probably AP Psych too.

If you can handle Euro and Bio fairly easily sophomore year, I think you can do 5 Junior year - especially if one of them is an English and one is psych. Just stay organized throughout the year and it will be fine.
