Is a 3.9 GPA okay for my freshman year of high school?

Here are the classes I’m taking:
1st semester

  • Ceramics 1 (1 credit)
-Principles of Biomedical Sciences (1 credit)
-Intro to 3D Art (1 credit)
    -Honors French 2 ( 1 credit)
    -Honors Algebra 2 (1 credit)
    -Honors Chemistry (1 credit)
    -Honors English 9 (1 credit)

2nd Semester

  • Digital Applications and Responsibility (1 credit)
-Principles of Biomedical Sciences (1 credit)
    -Physical Education (1 credit)
    -Honors French 2 ( 1 credit)
    -Honors Algebra 2 (1 credit)
    -Honors Chemistry (1 credit)
    -Honors English 9 (1 credit)

It’s really good!

What kind of question is that?

Yes.

How do you know you will achieve a 3.9 since you have not gotten any grades yet?

Or you have achieved a 3.9 already and this is your Sophomore year schedule? ^^^. If so, then yes a 3.9 GPA is very good for Freshman year.

Better than mine

But really, colleges don’t really care about your Freshman GPA except when it’s factored into your total GPA. You seem to be taking really tough and challenging classes, which colleges love to see, so you’re doing very well this year. Keep it up!
