Hi everyone, I'm going to be applying this upcoming Fall '11 and I'll be done with my GE and IGETC by the end of that particular fall. So I won't be taking the Spring or Winter semester. Is this any beneficial during the applications process? Since they'll know I will be done with everything by the January Window.

Thanks A Lot

Doesn’t hurt, doesn’t help… Loading up on a good fraction of your Pre-reqs in the spring does hurt.

Well, if you are missing one(or more) pre-req(s) because it is not offered at your school or if it is not equivalent to the uc-course,they will expect you to go to another cc and complete that course.

if you are science or engineering major completing many pre-reqs before the last spring will help you in admission.

I got accepted to all schools I applied to. I applied as an engineering major to ucsd/ucsc and biochem to ucla/ucsb (no tag/tap and average personal statements). I completed 45% of my major prep last fall and will complete 45% this spring. My igetc will also be completed by this spring.
