Is it too late to apply to UA? I realize it is too late for the scholarship deadline and I’m guessing that deadline is firm. Son’s friend has a 33 ACT with good GPA but was waitlisted at UGA. He didn’t have a backup plan and is now scrambling to find one. Any suggestions that I could pass along to his parents would be appreciated.
The deadline is firm for the scholarship. He could take a gap year and work (and not attend classes anywhere) and receive the scholarship to start Fall 2018. He would likely be admitted now to attend this fall but without the scholarship funds.
