Is it true that it is hard to transfer to UC Berkeley for Poly Sci?

Social Sciences does not include Biology and Chemistry. I don’t even know how you came to that conclusion. Biology falls under Biological Sciences (wow imagine that) and Chemistry has its own college.

When attempting to be helpful it is best to have a source of information that substantiates your claims. http://students.berkeley.edu/files/Admissions/12626_5.Info_TransAdm.pdf

I really hope users of this website can do their own research and do not solely rely upon the information given by equally uninformed users.

With all that being said, I do believe SoccerDude’s estimates are pretty close based upon the Berkeley admits thread of last year. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/706220-official-2009-berkeley-admissions-rejections-thread.html?highlight=ucb

Also, just because you are a transfer student and not a high school student doesn’t mean acceptance should just be given to you.
