<p>Are you talking about the student discount? Because if so, every single Apple store gives a student discount at any time during the year; when I got it a few months ago, it was $100 off. You’ll need a student ID, though, which you can get during orientation. Otherwise, honestly, I’d wait until I got to campus to buy a computer, considering all the recent horror stories I’ve been hearing of laptops being lost and carriers refusing to reimburse people.</p>

<p>Yeah, apparently, the NYU Computer Store has gotten a lot better since I last used them, because it IS $200 cheaper to get it from them. Still, I’d wait until you get on campus to purchase it.</p>
