JCoveney...the target demographic for American Eage lis 15-25 year olds...so i dont think that it's dressing like a thirteen year old.

I used to be a Lacoste person...but then EVERYONE started wearing it...so now Im down with the tiger...le tigre. Some Ben Sherman or Fred Perry polos are legit too

And I have a couple really old Izod polos, when Izod was THE brand and owned rights over that little alligator now found on Lacoste

So Jonathon do you think you're preppy?

logos can be really tacky............

Lacoste -> used to be a timeless style, now it's just fashionable, even hip hop artists wear it

Polo RL --> could be classy. HOWEVER, Mr. lauren is going a little crazy these days with the huge pony thing.........unclassy. It's seen as an imitation of brooks brothers by true preps. RL has a fashionable side as well.

A&F-->puke

Izod and J.Crew-> both excellent choices for people between 13 and 30 who want to look classy.

J.Press, Andover shop, Brooks Brothers ---> traditional, true prep school attire.

depends how far back your talking Untitled...When Izod still had the alligator logo, Lacoste was mainly sold in stores resembling Walmart.

I havnt seen much in the way of Lands End or LL Bean here...pretty ****en pretty if you ask me

True. well dressed doesnt mean expensive.

Land's End and LL Bean are both very traditional catalogues. They aren't pricey, but they have high quality, while pricey A&F has s*** quality.

haha, werd to that

used to like abercrombie, american eagle and aeropostale.....but im getting sick of them cuz i realized like alll my clothes are from there so ive started shopping at random places....its cool..ive found a lot of cute stuff at smaller stores and sometimes its cheaper..

So Jonathon do you think you're preppy?
[/quote]

Masterus, I guess I'm preppy. I don't know.

Gap, New York & Co., small stores, and Shoe Station rule all.

Abercrombie is for losers.

Polo is overpriced and not that great.

I <3 Lacoste, but their stuff is sooo expensive.

"Eww.. really? That's not cool."

You seriously didnt know that?

I seriously didn't know that.

You're not preppy, if you're not sure. You have to know yourself. "Know Thy Self" is a theme of life.

Could thy self leave please? Shame is bestowed upon thou

lol GDF

Masterus, just go away. You're not cool. You're not going Harvard.

RL Purple Label is the ****!!!

Preppiness is a state of mind. I am not preppy.

haha Purple Label is like 120 for a blank purple t-shirt.

lands end and ll bean i get for mostly outerwear like coats and what not for the winter however j crew has had some nice coats lately which ive liked j press is also nice..great quality dress attire

The correct answer to the original question (Polo or Abercrombie) is "they're both worse".
